Brought legacy manufacturing systems on Vistakon’s production lines into an integrated IT/OT environment. Vistakon, Johnson & Johnson’s vision care business, is a high-volume medical device manufacturer, and its lines had accumulated systems that each held their own data and spoke to nothing else.
The work was machine-level visibility across the lines and interconnection between the islands, so process and production detail could be seen centrally and acted on rather than read off an individual machine by someone standing in front of it.
