Coordinated projects for Prudential on the installation and configuration of NT 3.51 and 4.0 workstations, and carried on-call desktop support across a wide range of platforms.
The substantive piece was designing the rollout method itself: deploying workstations in the thousands with very little resource. Repeatable process applied to scale, which is the same problem as automation before there were tools for it — and the same instinct that later insisted a change process be proven before a product was fitted to it.
Dates and employer provisional. The master CV records CompuCom, January to October 1996. Two contemporaneous resumes describe this work as September 1996 to March 1997 without naming the employer. Needs confirming.
