The same platform carried the main municipal site, the public emergency preparedness site, the Sheriff’s Office, the Tax Collector, the courts and six others — organizations that do not share a budget or an elected officer, sharing a content platform.
That makes the platform’s continuity tiering the continuity tiering of every service on it. In the enterprise disaster recovery architecture it was named a top-five application for business continuity, which is a judgment about the preparedness site as much as about the content system. Capacity planning and load-balancer sizing were done for the platform rather than per site, and the demilitarized zone switch replacement planning tracked the sites it carried among those at risk.
