Real roof shapes and tree heights from the 2018 USGS LiDAR survey, colored from aerial imagery, with the EDX SignalPro coverage on the ground. Roofs are at 1 m detail within 1.5 km of the pole. “With shadows” shows what those roofs and trees take away at car height.

Footprints: Microsoft and OpenStreetMap; pink roofs have no structure in the 2018 data and are likely newer. Tree shapes are symbolic; species was not measured.
